Industrial Nurse

The Jamaica Urban Transit Company Limited seeks to recruit an Industrial Nurse.

Qualifications

• Registered General Nurse
• Four (4) years working experience as an Industrial Nurse
• Specialization in accident and emergency care and wellness promotion

Core functions

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for exercising overall responsibility for Employee Health and Welness Programs for the assigned location within JUTC as well as administering first aid treatment to employees with minor injuries or illnesses occasioned on the job.

Requirements

• Training in counselling techniques
• Sound knowledge of first aid and resuscitation techniques
• Experience in the administration of Employee Wellness Program
• Knowledge of Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) regulations
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong human relations skill
• Good diagnostic and analytical skills
